Because every home deserves a touch of 'je ne sais quoi'

Our story

Maison Tacot was born from a lifelong love of homes that tell a story .

I’ve have always been drawn to homes that tell a story— spaces shaped over time with pieces gathered across borders, chosen slowly for the history, texture, and soul they carry. I believe a home becomes personal not through trends or perfection, but through the things you choose to live with: pieces that reflect who you are, where you’ve been, and what you hold close.

Antiques do exactly that. They carry stories. They bring a sense of presence that can’t be replicated, quietly layered with history and human touch. There is something deeply special about finding an object far from home and giving it a forever place, where it becomes part of everyday life and a reminder of a place, a moment, or a feeling.

Maison Tacot is my way of bringing that sense of place to Atlanta.

We curate European antiques for homes that value character, craftsmanship, and story—pieces meant to be lived with, layered over time, and carried forward for years to come.

I look forward to welcoming you.

With love,
Eva

Meet Eva

The name Maison Tacot is deeply personal. Tacot is my maiden name, French in origin, and a tribute to my family’s history. Our great-grandfather emigrated from Paris to the United States, and choosing this name felt like a quiet homage to lineage, memory, and the idea of home carried across generations. Maison speaks not just to a house, but to a place of belonging.

My connection to France began at ten years old on my first international trip, traveling through Paris and Brittany. I was captivated by the craftsmanship and romance of French châteaux—objects and spaces shaped by centuries of living. That early spark grew into years spent returning to France, most notably in Provence, where Saint-Rémy-de-Provence has come to feel like a second home and a lasting source of inspiration.

“Your home should tell the story of who you are, and be a collection of what you love.”
